Ayse Buker
BHSc-MCPO, MAOPA
Ayse graduated from Latrobe University with a Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2012. Prior to her university degree in Australia, she also studied at a vocational school in Turkiye completing a 2-year technical course in prosthetics and orthotics. She worked in Australia and Turkiye for more than 10 years in the field. During her employment in both countries, she developed comprehensive clinical skills in vast variety of prosthetic and orthotic managements. With over 10 years’ clinical experience, she is passionate about working closely with adults and paediatric clients to achieve the best outcome for each
individual.
Ayse finds her role extremely rewarding, and she came to the realization that the services in prosthetics and orthotics to rural and regional areas in Western Australia is limited requiring clients to travel to the service providers. Therefore, she structured a mobile clinic which brings the prosthetic and orthotic services to clients’ homes or their appointment with their physiotherapist.
Ayse likes living in the Perth Hills with her husband and enjoys what her small property gives her. She loves working on her veggie patch, cooking, being around her farm animals and being busy with her art and craft projects.
Who We Are
Optimised Prosthetics and Orthotics was established in 2025 in Perth Hills Region. The main workshop is in Perth Hills, and we fabricate custom made assistive technologies for the clients with limb differences and neuromuscular conditions.
Our services outreach to clients who live within a 150 km radius distance from Perth Hills. We can always consider exceptions for clients who live further distances. Please enquire to us for your eligibility for our mobile clinic support.
We aim to ensure that our prostheses and orthoses have optimal comfort, design, and function for our clients in order to maximise their mobility within the community.

Prosthetics
A prosthesis is an artificial device designed to replace a missing part of the body or missing part of the extremities.
• Upper Extremity Prosthesis including digits.
• Lower Extremity prosthesis including partial foot amputations.
Orthotics
Orthoses are custom or prefabricated externally applied devices which are designed and fitted to parts of the human anatomy. They provide variety of goals such as controlling biomechanical alignment, correct and/or control the condition, reduce pain, reduce the risk of falls or injuries, increase mobility and independence.
Peadiatrics
We offer orthoses and prostheses specifically designed to adapt to children's rapid growth and active lifestyles. Our solutions provide comfort, functionality, and support every step of the way.
